As the weather begins to warm, thoughts turn to days out at the beach - long coastal walks and sandy beaches stretching as far as the eye can sea. The Yorkshire Coast holds a special place in my heart, and it's a joy to paint. The landscape is rich with drama and history, from the captivating cliffs and caves at Flamborough head to the Iconic Whitby Abbey and its historic harbour, and on to the Victorian Charm of Scarborough. Im taking a look back at some of the original oil paintings I've painted over the years of the Yorkshire Coast, and getting inspired to pick up my brushes once again.
